Guesses?

Government complains that the media chase rumour and innuendo. But then insists on encouraging rumour and innuendo.

Asked if it was time to reverse the trend to larger vehicles Mr. Lister said the Premier had hinted “something interesting was coming in the transport area” although he hadn’t been told what that would entail.

OK, I’ll bite. Is that interesting-good or interesting-ewart? Here are some possibilities:

  • The Mobylette will come back in style baby!
  • Free public transportation will actually happen.
  • He’ll follow through with some of the trial balloons on restricting car ownership for expats.
  • The TCD smart tags will be used for tolls/congestion charges. Riots follow.
  • Government will do more to encourage the use of school buses.
  • Car sharing will be introduced.
  • Mr. Johnnie Barnes will no longer feel the love for cars with only one occupant.
  • Government will build more sidewalks.
  • All Bermuda taxi drivers will be forced to convert to GPS-enabled electric Tuktuks.
  • Dr, Brown will drop up his multicar “flying column” escort while Government ministers will give up their GP cars. Just kidding.

Anyone else have ideas?
