The Progressive Minds blog makes the biiiig stretch that The Bermuda Depths = 1970s movie = 1977 riots = nostalgia for white oligarchy.  You make that implausible jump … but accept the plotline of giant maneating turtles ravaging Bermuda’s beaches?  Lighten up willya?!

Of course, the Progressive Minds claim is ridiculous.  But, as PLP chairman David Burt says, “Define your opponent”.  They are simply trying to label this site, which can be critical of their efforts, as part of the great white bogeyman.  It’s silly really.

I guess I confused them by straying from my normal policy talk.  If you really care to learn about the 1977 riots, I wasn’t there.  Read The Pitt Report.

And RockSolid, if you want to talk about offensive, what about that over-the-top article in the Workers Voice last week?  The one that compared black members of the UBP to Nazi Collaborators?
