Bermuda should just get over it and pass whistleblower legislation. You see, the political forces have offended and abused the civil service so much in recent years that the public sector bounces between CYA secrecy and leaking like rusty bucket.
I assume that’s how these titillating stories end up in the press … like the one that alleges that the Bermuda Department of Tourism recently sponsored a party at the Playboy Mansion to benefit a charity set up by Dr. Brown’s son.
Possibly given the conflicts of interest, Bermuda’s involvement was kept under wraps.
According to the press, other sponsors had their logos painted across the chests of naked Bunnies in attendance.
I am outraged that we missed the opportunity to display Bermuda’s tagline with pride: FEEL THE LOVE!
