The news was full of vague reports today that the Corporation of Hamilton is getting lots of support from “stakeholder groups” for its revised plans to redevelop the City’s waterfront.
Except those groups are hand selected. And no, you can’t see the plan yet.
With all the news of infighting, evictions, strikes, and general wretchedness about the Corporation, it smells like someone got themselves a PR spindoctor.
Let’s hope this version is a bit more reasonable than its predecessor which envisioned large scale landfills of the Harbour and the creation of a new city in front of the City at a cost of $650 million.
