You’ve got to give credit to Dr. Brown. He knows how to spin the news.
First there are the “public opinion polls” that are actually telemarketing calls design to “sell” his popularity. And then there’s the flurry of puffy press releases, like this one for the Sonesta redevelopment. Although placed overseas, ostensibly by third parties, they are clearly written for Bermuda consumption to help repair Dr. Brown’s ailing public image.
If you owe Dr. Brown any favours, you can expect those chips to be called in shortly! It’s hammer time.
