The Bermuda Sun reports that the Premier is on a mission to push through “the most change the country can manage” in his last 12 months in office.
Doesn’t that give you a warm and fuzzy feeling? As I commented during this year’s budget debate:
Over the past 5 years under the PLP, our Government budget has doubled from around $500 million to $1.1 billion annually. On top of that, our national debt has grown from around $250 million to a projected $640 million this year – and they are leaving the door open to raise that all the way to a billion.
How much more change can you manage?
