More lessons in political etiquette from the PLP today:
History records that our Party has always been inclusive … We invite [Grant Gibbons] to ponder who has been excluded, and remember that those who have historically excluded forfeit the right to accuse others of “excluding.”
That may work in personal dialogue, but it does not in political representation. Whether or not they see it, many of the PLP’s actions seek to exclude white voters.
In some respects, I believe this is a conscious action. After all, balanced parties would lessen race as Bermuda’s number one fixation and force politicians to be more accountable on the spectrum of issues facing Bermuda.
