Well, this year we don’t have the massive self-promotion of Dr. Brown’s Christmas card. Instead, every household received the following mysterious missive by mail (I’ve gotten several now):

I am not sure what is the goal of this “inspiration by PowerPoint”. Sending a post card won’t change the tone of Bermuda politics, halt the gang warfare, and or make us nicer people. But I do hope this is a theme that will be carried forward vigorously and consistently by our leaders in words and in action in 2011.
Assuming this came from Government, the law says “the words On Her Majesty’s Service must be printed or written above the address of every such postal packet, and the packet must bear on the front or face of the outer cover or envelope the official designation of the sender”. Respect for the law is also a human right :)
