The whole atmosphere and fundraising surrounding the Premier’s Farewell Gala this weekend strikes me as inappropriate. But, like many Bermudians, I will be celebrating Dr. Brown’s departure in my own quiet way.
I have to laugh at the aggressive radio ads for “the party four years in the making.”
Yes, it has been quite a party for some over the past four years. One wonders how long will it take to pay for it? The billion dollar debt they’ve racked up will eventually cause one hell of a hangover.
