The PLP’s proposed Media Council Bill is attracting the derision it deserves from international freedom of speech groups. It is a hatchet job and should not be passed.
The local media need to get their act together and form a self-regulatory press council. What are you waiting for? The warning shots for Dr. Brown’s latest escapade were fired a long time ago.
